Getting Africa Banking

I was asked by Brand Communications to develop a brand refresh for Ecobank, the leading Pan African Bank. The launch campaign was based on the theme of ‘Move On Up’ and was anchored on a suite of TV commercials that were shot in South Africa and Swaziland. The campaign went on to receive a Transform Gold Award.

The marketing collateral had to appeal to a very broad demographic - from financially sophisticated professionals to complete banking novices.

15" TV

Having initially briefed a single 60" TV commercial, the client changed strategy and decided upon a series of 15 second spots, each highlighting a single banking product.
